House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman, U.S. Rep. Greg Walden (R-Hood River), spoke of the importance of updating America’s energy infrastructure at a hearing of the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy today.

Greg Walden (R-Hood River), Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, held a hearing today to begin the process of rebuilding the nation’s health care system. During the hearing, Walden discussed legislation he will be introducing to ensure patients with pre-existing conditions will always have access to health insurance. He also spoke of giving patients lower costs, more choices, and more control when it comes to their health care.

The U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, chaired by U.S. Rep. Greg Walden (R-Hood River), today moved forward with two bills to address problems of waste, fraud, and abuse within the Medicaid program. The bills were approved by the Subcommittee on Health and now move on to the full Committee for a vote.
