Veterans Day 2015
Thank you to all the men and women whose sacrifices have preserved our freedom. I was humbled to mark this Veterans Day at events across southern Oregon in celebration and honor of all Oregonians who have served.
Kicked off Veterans Day a few days early on November 7, with the first ever Veterans Stand Down event held in The Dalles where local and at-risk veterans could come by for medical care and a good meal.
Glad to help recognize our vets at Hidden Valley High Schools' Veterans Day assembly.
I felt honored to have the chance to speak at the White City SORCC Veterans Day event.
Always a humbling experience to meet and talk with vets from our area.
